Larkmere Flowers · Halifax

Cut at dawn.

From three local growers, before the day gets warm.

Picked in bud.

So it opens on your table, and not in the back of a truck.

Then it opens.

Slowly, one petal at a time. We just keep the water cold.

Two hundred petals.

Nature's maths, and very little of it is ours.

Tied by hand.

At their door by noon.

The short version

Most flowers fly further than you do. Ours come from three farms within an hour of the studio, get cut before breakfast, and reach the person you love while they still smell like a field.

The studio

A former boat shed, and a very large fridge.

Ruth Campbell grew up on a flower farm and spent a decade in event design, watching beautiful things get flown in from far away. In 2016 she came home and started calling the farmers she grew up with.

Larkmere is still just Ruth, two florists and a van. We know who grew every stem, and if it isn't good this week, we'll tell you what is.
